Wait till the 15th......

Well peeps the news on the planning application part one is in. The answer is..........
HURRY UP AND WAIT!  We are going to have to wait till the 15th of  July for  reply to the pre planning application. We are going through government cuts and tight times. I understand that but its a time when the MAN wants people starting businesses. Their answer is to stream line the section of their system that helps Small Medium Enterprises. Business link thanks for helping me, i have been on two of your courses meet with you twice for a little advise both times being told you don't have all the info you need. Since then  i have had no phone calls to find out how my business is doing. But have had four phone calls to ask how Business links customer service is. The answer to that is, if you spoke to me regluarly you would know. Statistics can lie people it's all in the numbers.
 OK, on another front bikes rule. I had a day buzzing around the East Anglian countryside today in the van (aka cheese box). Hot, noisy, traffic jams and more traffic jams in Brandon of all places! Well it was all done and when i final got back to base. I had an hours break before nearly jumping back in the car and driving off to get some site measurements. but half and hour before i left i remembered i can ride my bike to the site. What can i say it made my day. Road out the village over the motorway and into the site, AMAZING. BIKES RULE!

He is one owned by a bloke i meet at the GreenMan beer fest a weekend or two back. He dragged it out of a skip and has restored it over the last couple of years. Well done Sir good to see a loved and USED bike still rolling.
   Right thats it for now long week and weekend still ahead. I'm off to chill and head for the other job tomorrow.

Were did the last seven days go.......

Well i haven't blogged for seven days. Answer for that is i also live in the real world. On Monday i headed off to find a bank to hold the brewery bank account. Now I'll be the first to say i don't like banks and the way they pay there top dogs/ fat cats, the way they play with our money and more. Unluckily living in a capitalist world it's a evil we have to deal with. So Monday i toured round the local banks and found there is a real difference in service. To shorten the story i went with the bank who had the best service. So to NC (you know who you are) well done nice to talk to a human and one that isn't just a bean counter.
Still waiting to hear from the planning department on the application but its at least been allocated now. We are on to the next stage of a full systems diagram and full final costing. Any one enjoy putting together cash flow and P&L sheets, as i can't be the only one who finds them hard.
 Right for now its about lunch time so I'm off. Be putting up some photos of bits i have seen this week and maybe some more news before the end of the next seven days
